We were lucky enough to have our own personal tourist guide to spend the day with us at KL. Eapen (an ex student of Lincoln University) was happy to escort us around his city. We started the day with curry for breakfast and different sort of beverages in Little India, he then showed us around a few local shops explaining the different fruits, vegs, hardware store, accessories etc. We moved onto the Mosque where we had to be robed up to look around - good photos to come. The Mosque was located in the Administrative capital of KL where the Prime Minister lived and many of the Ministry buildings. The streets, bridges, buildings and street lights were decorative and we found this area very clean. From there we moved into KL to the city centre - petronas towers (Twin Towers) and had a look around before taking the subway to China Town markets. Eapen was a great help with the bartering at the markets and we experienced new foods and drinks again at the market - some of which we will never experience again. Eapen warned us at the market to keep hold of our bags as pick-pockets are well-known in this area. A cramped train ride back to KL City Centre and then a drive back to the ship via the Batu Caves. We had an amazing day and was great to have no time restrictions as our other excursions.
Again finished the evening with a cocktail, dinner and a show.
